　　一只小海龟总想到陆地上来玩玩，可是父母怕它被欺负，一直不敢答应它。这一天，趁着父母不在家，小海龟就自己爬上了岸。它看到了陆地上与海底不一样的风景，非常高兴，于是就沿着一条小路继续向前走。
　　走了很长时间，它觉得累了，再也没有力气爬回大海了，它累倒在了路边。这时，正巧有个年轻人扛着锄头从地里干活回来，看见了小海龟，二话没说就把它抱回了家。小伙子是村里的孤儿，父母早就去世了，二十多岁了还没有找到真爱。他一到家里，就把小海龟放在了水缸里。小海龟在水里慢慢地苏醒过来，睁开眼睛一看：“哦，这是什么地方，黑乎乎的呀？”它走了几个来回，觉得这不是自己的家。后来，它终于想了起来，自己出去玩走累了，晕倒在路边……不管了，活着就是幸福。
　　小伙子把小海龟放进水缸里后，因为太累了，吃完饭就睡着了，把小海龟这件事给忘了。第二天早晨，小伙子起来做饭，一掀开锅盖，发现里面有一锅还带着温气的白面大馒头还有一碗鸡蛋炒西红柿，小伙子高兴极了。“这是谁做的呢？”他想着赶紧跑出屋，寻找给他做饭的人。可是，哪有人啊！
　　回到屋里，小伙子带着满脑的疑问，吃完饭又下地干活了。中午回到家，菜饭又有人给做好了，连茶水都给准备好了。小伙子虽然疑点重重，但也不能不吃饭，他三下五除二吃完午饭，休息一会儿后又下地了。
　　一连几天都是这样的，第二天小伙子吃完早饭又下地了，走到中途，他又回来了，悄悄地躲在外边观察屋子里的动静，他想看看到底是谁天天给他做饭吃。快到中午了，他发现水缸盖慢慢地被举起来，从里面出来一个美丽如花的姑娘，看上去也就十八九岁。
　　姑娘一出来，就开始忙活起来，淘米切菜，动作十分的娴熟。小伙子看明白了，他拉开门走进来。姑娘回头看见小伙子脸红了，她想回到水缸里去，但水缸盖被小伙子死死地压住。
　　小伙子问姑娘：“请问你是谁家的姑娘？为什么藏在水缸里面，天天给我做饭吃？”
　　姑娘红着脸说：“我就是被你在路上捡来的小海龟。”
　　小伙子说：“哦，原来是你，这些天我把这是给忘了，也没喝水缸里的水，因为水你都给我备好了。实在对不起，把你忘了。”
　　姑娘说:“没关系、没关系，要不是你把我抱回来，我早就被晒死了。”
　　小伙子听姑娘说“抱”有点不好意思了，他红着脸说：“那你是小海龟？”
　　姑娘说：“我是大海的女儿，东海龙王是我大舅。我只是想到外边的世界看看，想不到我被陆上的风景迷住，走得太远回不去了，于是就累倒在了路边，幸亏你下工回来把我捡起来放在了水缸里，我才能活过来，我应该谢谢你。”她说着就要给小伙子跪下以谢恩人。
　　小伙子赶紧用手搀扶着姑娘说：“这个使不得、使不得。”
　　姑娘说：“我看你人挺好的，所以我愿意给你做饭，我还愿意给你做一辈子饭。”说完，自己还不好意思地转过脸笑了起来。
　　小伙子大惊失色：“姑娘，使不得、使不得。你是神龟，我是凡人俗子，怎么敢让你委屈成全呢？”
　　姑娘笑得更灿烂了：“瞧把你吓的，我可以申请脱仙入凡，和你组建一个家庭。”
　　“那你的父母能同意吗？”小伙子还是忧心忡忡地问。
　　“这个，我可以说服他们。明天天亮之前，你把我放回大海，等我脱了这个龟皮后再来找你。”姑娘说。
　　“好好，我照你说的做就是了。”小伙子高兴极了。
　　第二天，天不亮，小伙子把小海龟放在水桶里面，背着它就向海边走去。
　　一个月过去了，就在小伙子担心小海龟撒谎不再回来的时候，院子里走进来一个年轻漂亮的姑娘，后面还跟着许多人敲锣打鼓走进了院子。小伙子一眼就认出来了，那个姑娘就是小海龟，是自己的媳妇，他赶紧跑出屋子，把姑娘紧紧地搂在怀里。

　　A little turtle always wants to play on the land, but his parents are afraid that he will be bullied and dare not agree with him.

On this day, while his parents were not at home, the little turtle crawled onto the shore. It was very happy to see the different scenery on the land and the seabed, so it continued walking along a path.

After walking for a long time, he felt tired and had no strength to crawl back to the sea. He fell down with fatigue on the side of the road. Just then a young man came home from work in the field with a hoe on his shoulder. He saw the turtle and took it home without saying a word . He was an orphan in the village. His parents died long ago., and he had not found true love in his twenties. As soon as he got home, he put the  turtle in the water tank. The little turtle came to life slowly in the water. He opened his eyes and looked, "Oh, where is it, so dark?" He walked back and forth a few times, feeling that it was not his home. Later, it finally remembered that he was tired of playing outside and fainted on the side of the road No matter, living is happiness.　　

The young man put the turtle in the tank, because he was too tired, he fell asleep after dinner and forgot about the turtle. The next morning, the he rose to cook, opened the lid of the pot, and found that there was a pot with warm white steamed bread and a bowl of egg fried tomatoes. He was very happy. "Who made this ?" He thought and ran out of the house and wanted to find who cooked for him. But, no one around.

Back in the room, the young man was full of doubts, and went to work in the fields after the meal.  When he got home at noon, the dishes and rice were prepared again, even the tea was ready. Although the young man was full of doubts, he could not help eating. He finished his lunch and went to the field after a rest.

It was like this for several days. The next day the young man went to the field after breakfast. He came back halfway and hid quietly outside to watch what was going on in the house. He wanted to see who cooked  for him every day. It was almost noon, and he found that the cover of the  tank was slowly being lifted, and a beautiful and flowery girl came out of it,  who looked only eighteen or nineteen years old.

As soon as the girl came out, she began to get busy. She was very skillful in washing rice and cutting vegetables. The young man understood. He opened the door and came in. The girl looked back and saw the young man blush. She wanted to go back to the tank, but the tank cover was pressed by the young man.

The young man asked : "Who are you, girl? Why do you hide in the tank and cook for me every day? "

The girl blushed and said, "I am the little turtle you picked up on the road."

The young man said, "Oh, it's you. I forgot about it these days, and I didn't drink the water in the tank, because you got ready for the water for me. I'm sorry I forgot you.

The girl said: "It's okay, it's okay, if you didn't carry me back, I would have been dead in the sun."

The young man was a little embarrassed to hear the girl say "hug". He blushed and said, "So you are a little turtle?"

The girl said, "I am the daughter of the sea, and the Dragon King of the East China Sea is my elder uncle. I just wanted to see the outside world, but I couldn't believe that I was so fascinated by the scenery on the land that I couldn't go back. So I fell down on the side of the road. Fortunately, you picked me up and put me in the water tank when you came back from work, so that I could survive. I should thank you. " She said and she was going to kneel down to thank the lad.

The young man quickly helped the girl with his hand and said, "This is impossible, impossible."

The girl said, "I think you are very good, so I am willing to cook for you. I am willing to cook for you all my life." Then she turned his face to smile sheepishly.

The young man was shocked: "Girl, you can't do that, you can't do that. You are a tortoise, and I am a mortal. How dare you make it all right? "

The girl smiled more brightly: "Look at the one who scared you, I can apply to get rid of the immortal and start a family with you."

　　 " Can your parents agree?" the young man asked worriedly.

"Well, I can convince them. Before dawn tomorrow, you put me back to the sea, and I will come back to you after I take off this turtle skin. " Said the girl.

"Well, I'll do as you say." The young man was very happy.

The next day, before dawn, the boy put the turtle in a bucket, carrying it to the seaside.
A month later, when the young man was worried that the turtle would not come back again, a young beautiful girl came into the yard, followed by many people beating drums and gongs. The young man recognized at a glance that the girl was a little turtle and his daughter-in-law. He ran out of the house and hugged her tightly in his arms.（2020-10-06）
